Majora Account & Data Deletion Policy

Effective Date: July 22, 2026

Majora respects your privacy and gives you the ability to request deletion of your account and associated personal information.

Requesting Account Deletion

If you would like to permanently delete your Majora account and associated data, you may submit a request using one of the following methods:

Please include the following information:

  • Your registered email address

  • Subject line: Account Deletion Request

  • Confirmation that you want your Majora account permanently deleted

We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing your request.

What Will Be Deleted

Once your request is verified and processed, the following information will be permanently deleted where applicable:

  • Your Majora account

  • Email address associated with your account

  • Saved colleges

  • College preferences

  • College search history

  • Application tracking information

  • Notes

  • AI conversation history stored by Majora

  • User profile information

  • Personalized recommendations

  • Any other personal information associated with your account

What May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained if required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Security logs

  • Fraud prevention records

  • Legal compliance records

  • Backup copies that are automatically removed during scheduled backup cycles

Retained information will not be used for marketing purposes.

Processing Time

Most verified deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

Some backup systems may require up to 90 days before all copies are permanently removed.

Effect of Deletion

Deleting your account is permanent.

Once completed:

  • Your account cannot be recovered.

  • Deleted information cannot be restored.

  • You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Majora again.

Third-Party Services

If Majora uses trusted third-party service providers (such as authentication, cloud hosting, or AI providers), deletion requests will be processed for data controlled by Majora. Some third-party providers may retain limited information as required by their own legal or operational obligations.
